Jim Lee

Jim Lee

Jim's presented just about all the programmes on Mercia at one time or another including voicing commercials.
His first programme to host was the 'From me to you' on Sunday lunchtime between 12.00 - 2.00.
He also filled in as and when presenters took holidays
.

As Mercia Sound celebrated 2 years of success Jim wrote:

"it's just two years now since Ian Rufus found me in the Walsgrave Hospital. So far I've survived all attempts
to put me back in there.!

For the sake of 'my art' I've flown in gliders until I was sick, hurtled round a treelined dirt track sideways at
70mph with Henri Toivenon and even worked alongside Gordon Astley. I've loved every minute of it - well
afterwards I did!

Having been born in Nuneaton it gives me extra special satisfaction working for our local radio station."
